The President
Andrew Pisko is a founder and an actively participating President of Educare Preschool of Palm Harbor. Andrew has been successfully running day-to-day multifaceted school operation for over 5 years since the inception.
A place such as preschool demands constant attention to children and school needs , but above all, a lot of love and dedication, an inherent qualities that Andrew brings to the table along with a wealth of teaching and practical life experience.
Andrew has graduated from St. John’s University of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, currently pursuing Master’s Degree in Child Psychology. Andrew is almost always at the school and can be contacted in person or reached by phone.
The School Director
Mrs. Daisy Miranda is the Director of Educare Preschool of Palm Harbor. Mrs. Miranda plays an essential role of liaison and coordination between Educare and the community. Her many functions also include overseeing various tasks of day-to-day operation, educational programs and schedule compliance, etc.
Ms. Miranda has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. Her passion for education is amply manifested through her hard work and absolutely positive attitude. Ms. Miranda’s first employment took place in a daycare in New York. Over the time Ms. Miranda learned the inner workings of managing a daycare as well as acquired valuable experience in teaching.
Originally from New York, Mrs. Miranda has moved to Tampa to be closer to the rest of her family. Upon her relocation to Tampa Bay Area Mrs. Miranda began working for another company that gave her tremendous opportunity to bolster her skills and expand knowledge in this field. She remained active at that company in a capacity of Operation Manager until 2006 before deciding to transfer to Educare Preschool of Palm Harbor to become a part of the school. This was when she decided to wholly dedicate her time and resources to Educare.
Mrs. Miranda is also taking parallel classes towards MBA at Walden University. Her goal is to continue helping all children in her community, to improve and expand the learning processes applied at Educare Preschool of Palm Harbor.
VPK & Spanish Language Teacher
Ms. Nelly Aguirre is our esteemed VPK Program & Spanish Language Teacher.
Ms. Nelly is originally from Colombia, being one of the three native speakers of Spanish at our school. Ms. Nelly has been with Educare Preschool of Palm Harbor since 2005 and does have a VPK Directors Credentials Certification. As with the rest of the staff, Ms. Nelly continues to advance her level of knowledge and education in Early Childhood.
If Spanish is your child’s main household language, rest assured, he or she will feel completely comfortable and in good caring hands while in Ms. Nelly’s class.
